My husband compared my tea drinking habit (maybe four or five cups a day) to his car buying habit. I had to laugh. They do correlate, that’s for sure. Between the two of us we’ve owned ten cars. We love them. They are our hobby. We’re planning on buying at least two more, probably three, when we move back to the States. This post isn’t to brag (as these cars have not been expensive), but simply to show you that my husband thinks tea is worth a car.

He made me my fifth cup of tea the other day and came upstairs with it. While depositing the cup on the table next to me he said, “How much do these tea bags cost? I think your tea habit should be why I get to buy that Toyota MR2 I really want. Ok?” Then he simply walked away.

What do you think? Should I let him spend the money on the MR2 while we’re working on moving countries just because I drank five cups of tea in one day?
